About the role
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to manage and oversee all warehouse activities, ensure efficient processes, and maximize warehouse productivity. The Warehouse Supervisor's responsibilities include supervising employees, resource planning managing all inbound and outbound activities, ensuring the quality of goods, and preparing relevant documentation. As supervisor you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day organisation of the warehouse and maintaining a safe, clean and well-maintained environment, complying with all site health and safety requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in container devanning, receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods
• Drive continuous improvement of workplace health & safety performance by focussing on injury prevention and early intervention.
• Ensure all incidents and injuries are reported in a timely manner and are recorded and investigated accurately.
• Achieve and exceed targets and ensure workplace safety are the first priority.
• In charge of warehouse staff, daily activities and resource planning.
• Managing, evaluating and reporting on warehouse productivity.
• Coordination of inbound container schedule.
• Managing cycle count and stocktake.
• Oversee China warehouse operation to ensure smooth operation process.
• Ensure regular team briefs are held to update the team on business activities, team goals and progress.
• Manage the performance of direct reports individually and as a team, so they receive the support and direction they need to achieve their objectives in a manner consistent with the company vision and values.
• Tracking and coordinating the container delivery, devan, stock receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods.
• Ordering supplies and maintaining suitable inventory levels.
• Closely monitor inventory level and place replenish orders to avoid OOS.
• Liaise with 3PL and other couriers’ companies to ensure all stock transfers and order deliveries are met our SLA.
• Checking orders, bills, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy.
• Develop and provide training to warehouse team when changes and new processes required.
• Maintaining records, data, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary reports and docs.
• Ensuring site maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Coordinating and maintaining equipment on site.
• Communicating and coordinating with other departments, oversea suppliers and customers.

Requirements:
• 2-3 years previous experience as a warehouse supervisor or a similar supervisor position.
• Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management.
• Known as someone who is great with people and one of the team.
• A great planner and organizer and you love solving problems.
• Know how to motivate others and get great results from teams.
• Have strong numeric and analytics skills and are comfortable with most programs and systems.
• You will be working closely with warehouse operation team in China, so you are ideally fluent in Mandarin.
• Have a hands-on approach to deal with situations and challenges as they arrive.
• Time management skills and the ability to delegate.
• Be supportive and respectful
• Excellent leadership and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other ERP/WMS software.
• Quick learner.
